Precision Manufacturing of N RF Connector

The manufacturing process at Aoxun Electronic begins with the careful selection of materials. The company sources only the highest-quality metals, such as brass and copper, to ensure the connectors' conductivity, strength, and corrosion resistance. These materials are then plated with gold, silver, or nickel to prevent oxidation and ensure optimal signal transmission.

Once the raw materials are selected, they undergo a series of highly precise machining processes. The factory employs state-of-the-art CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and laser cutting technology to produce the exact dimensions required for each connector. This precision is crucial, as even the smallest deviation in size can lead to poor electrical contact or signal loss.

The next step involves the assembly of the individual components. N-type connectors are composed of several parts, including the outer shell, the center pin, the dielectric material, and the coupling nut. The center pin must be accurately aligned with the dielectric material, and the entire assembly is carefully checked to ensure that there are no misalignments or defects that could impair the connector’s performance.

One of the most critical aspects of the manufacturing process is the crimping or soldering of the connector to the cable. Crimping requires precise force to ensure that the connection is secure without damaging the cable or connector. “We use specialized crimping tools that apply the correct amount of pressure to make sure that the connection is both electrically efficient and mechanically robust,” explains Zhu, a senior technician at the factory.

Each connector is then subjected to a series of rigorous electrical and mechanical tests. The factory conducts tests for insertion loss, return loss, and VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) to ensure that the connectors perform as expected under real-world conditions. Environmental testing, such as temperature cycling, humidity exposure, and salt fog resistance, is also carried out to simulate the harsh conditions that connectors may face when deployed in the field.

At Aoxun Electronic, quality assurance is at the core of their operations. The company’s in-house laboratory is equipped with the latest testing equipment to measure the performance of each connector. The electrical testing ensures that the connectors meet the strict 50-ohm impedance requirement, which is essential for maintaining signal integrity in RF applications.

“We put every connector through rigorous testing before it leaves our factory,” says Zhu, the lead engineer responsible for quality assurance. “We test for everything from signal loss to mechanical durability. Our customers rely on our products for mission-criti
